Silk soymilk is not vegan. If you look at the label, you will see a little U inside a circle, with a D next to it. The D stands for Dairy. This means that there are trace amounts of dairy in Silk. Possibly it is produced on equipment which has been previously used to produce a dairy product, or possibly actual dairy products or byproducts are added to Silk on purpose, but either way, it is not a vegan product.
If you want soymilk that is vegan, try Wild Harvest Organic. It still has the U in the circle (one of many marks of kosher certification), but no D, because it is not dairy.
